Just dug up this old resource the other day and figured I'd point it out. This is a really good book about ACM, BFM and fighter tactics. Although tailored to Flacon 4.0 it is useful for any type of air combat simulator. Easy to read and understand, yet much better than your average game guide. This one is written by Pete "Boomer" Bonnani, Viper instructor pilot. Since this book is no longer in printing, it can be hard to come by at times and the prices vary greatly. If you're lucky, you can find a cheap one, but I've seen some around for as much as 5x the original price nowadays...

I have a copy of that book and have studied it inside out! Another great book is Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering by Robert L. Shaw .
It's alittle tougher read bud had lots of excellent info inside.
