Well if you want DX10 capability you'll have to upgrade to Vista.

The only other technical feature I know of is the upgraded search function and 3D windows. That and a nice fat performance hit- if Beta2 is any indication.

Hehe, well I was pretty sure it will run fine, even without direct x 10. I just needed some confirmation from other people. It sounds like Vista is just gonna take advantage of the graphics. Or as the 15 minuet speech that was givin by the guy testing it. "One thing is for sure. Gaming, on Windows vista, is going to be awesome".

Yeah it will be awesome in a year and six months, when a useable efficient version of Vista is released. MSoft was able to get an internet reviewer to endorse their product, amazing, maybe they can get some other reviewer to knock the PS3 while they're at it What I want to stress to you is that unless you have a top of the line system Vista will run restrictively slow. Any feature upgrades DX10 will provide will be overshadowed by the performance hit.lqcorsa wrote: "One thing is for sure. Gaming, on Windows vista, is going to be awesome".
