Evansville Freedom Festival 2006

Post by Airshow fan » Sat Jun 24, 2006 11:08 am

Evansville Freedom Festival is this weekend. I went Friday and I am going to day also. I hope to take pics so I can share .We are supposed to have:

1)Viper West F-16
2) Heritage flight with P-38 and F-16
3) Jim Leroy in the Bulldog
4)Blackhawk helicoptor demonstration
5) F/A-18 Hornet West demo.
6) Golden Knights.

Yesterday. We were not at show center but I liked to go here because
I am at the red Line

It was on the riverfrount and made it looked great. Because we were at the old shipward (they built LSTs there in WW2) The F-16 and the F/A-18 was LOUD!. Viper West would come in Full afterburer right over our heads. And Did I say LOW! He was about 200ft over us going 500mph. Very Loud. but I loved it. I will post pic soon.

EDIT: My camera is not working. I will make a review that I will post here and on my website,

You all have a Virtual one? Cool I might have to do that some time! :)

Well, I just got back. The F-16 Viper West was awesome! Then there was a heritage flight, Jim Leroy, Blackhawk helicoptor demo, then the F/A-18. Yesterday the F/A-18 did more things. I belive that it only did a few passes because of a mechainical problem.

Great Show!

Yep but we fly on FS2004, we are the only running team on the game. Check our site out, there is a video on the downloads page too ( with some of the closest formation flying you will see in MSFS ) the video was made for another group but we were in it, our actual team video will be out in a few weeks
