an army doesn't march on its brains

Post by SilverOne » Sun Mar 12, 2006 2:19 pm

these are some real tips out of the armed forces manuals in the good old U.S.A

"Aim towards the enemy"
-instruction printed on the U S rocket laucher

"When the pin is pulled ,Mr Grenade is not our freind"
-U S marine corps

"Cluster bombing from B-52's is very, very accurate. The bombs are guaranteed to always hit the ground"
-U S air force manual

"If the enemy is in range,so are you"
-U S infanatry journal

"A slipping gear could let your M203 grenade launcher fire when you least expect it.That would make you quite unpopular in what is left of your unit"
-U S army

"It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed"
-U S air force manual

"Try to look unimportant;they may be low on ammo"
-U S infantry journal

"Five second fuses only last three seconds"
-U S infantry journal

"Any ship can be a minesweeper... once"
-anon

"Do not draw fire; it irritates the people around you"
-U S journal

and last but not least my favourite,

"If you see a bomb technician running, try to keep up with him"
-U S air force manual

Those are funny, but whats even funnier is that they have to put that in there cause you can almost count on it that someone has made those mistakes... And Im not saying the mistakes are funny.. just to claritfy...
