What do you mean by "4 rolls"? For the 4 consecutive aileron rolls (Solo maneuver), I do use a healthy amount of forward stick in between each roll, times at approx the 90 degree point so it doesn't offset me from the runway centerline either. If you're talking about the "Bot Ton Roulle" where all diamond pilots perform individual aileron rolls in formation, we disconnect trim! Untrim the airplane first and then perform a pure aileron roll. Once the roll is complete, we'll all reconnect nose-down trim.

i mean the solo 4 consecutive rolls ld 8), i tried to "counter-pitch" the f15 pull-down and somehow i managed not to get so affected by it, but the way you do it seems impossible , cuz you're spining so fast that you dont know where to exacly "pull down", but i'll give a look at it lata.

It's a little challenging! Just gotta time the control inputs and maintain coordination so you don't drift. The hardest part is getting the altitude right once you've mastered the lateral and directional control. The Thunderbird Solo flies an arc starting from a level altitude and apex during the 2nd roll before finishing on the 4th roll at the initial altitude, then clearing the show line in typical Solo fashion with a Flip Turn procedure. That's another element that makes rate and timing hard, but for practice sake I'd suggest doing consecutive aileron rolls and maintaining runway centerline and altitude at 100 feet AGL down the entire runway. Why settle for only 4 (in training)? :wink:
