The two planes involved were Red 6, Flt Lt Mike "Lingy" Ling (Synchro Leader) and Red 7, Fl Lt David "Monty" Montenegro.
Flt Lt Mike Ling ejected from the aircraft following the collision over Hellenic Air Force Base in Kastelli. The second pilot Flt Lt Dave Montenegro, landed safely.

Sucks to hear - glad they're alive. Just goes to show that formation aerobatics is very risky and accidents can, and unfortunately, will happen.
