Glad you are trying out. They need more people to fill out the rest of the team.

Hello,
I just want to express my appreciation for what the VTB's are doing, I have been playing FS9 for a long time and i have been practicing formation flight with many people who play the game. We have been able to sustain 3 and 4 ship formations from place to place but havent been able to perform any of the manuevers that u guys do. I have found that fs9 doesnt possess the user interface needed to fly tight formation. I have resently come into contact with ur videos, and i have got to hand it to u guys, im amazed by ur abilities and i would really like to fly with a talented bunch of guys like u. I have just purchases lomac today so i am a noob to the game but i really love flying sims and have a passion for formation flight. I would really like to learn more about the game and some setup details, maybe someone could give me a hand.

The FAQ section of our website is the best source to answer most questions. Any further ambiguity can be answered when you tryout, read about how to tryout on this forum (sticky'ed).

If you have a HOTAS then you won't have any Hotkeys unless your toll nub Kyle.

Riiiiiigghhhhhttttttt

My Cougar has this setup:

USE HAT1 AS POV

USE MICROSTICK AS MOUSE (11, 3, 1)

BTN H4U /P USB (D62 D5D U5D) /R USB (U62 D3A U3A)
BTN H4D KP5

BTN H2U KP.
BTN H2D USB (D53 U53 D3A U3A) KP5

BTN H3U /H KP8
BTN H3D /H KP2
BTN H3L /H KP4
BTN H3R /H KP6

BTN S3 t
BTN S4 /H w
BTN S1 g
BTN TG1 b

BTN T8 TRIM (JOYY, 20-)
BTN T7 TRIM (JOYY, 20+)

USE T2 as DX2

I then map T2 to my Ventrilo push to talk.

The Stick code covers:
Padlock/Unpadlock
Zoom HUD
Center View
Pan View
Air Brakes
Wheel Brakes
Smoke

The Throttle code covers:
Push to talk
Trim (experimental)
Pan View (redundant)

If you have fixed your speed brake switch on the throttle it probably would be better to make full use of that, as I haven't I still just use the trigger.

Again set up a tryout date and we can talk shop while we fly.
