Hey guys,
Does anyone know where the command is to modify the placement of the heat blur effect?

No idea. If you find out, let us know. I would also like to know how to move the afterburner plume as well.

Well we have how to move the afterburner cones.
The Forsag.lom is the key here. This model just needs to be
moved into the proper position in 3D max.

/Bazar/Effects/EXHAUST/exh_v and Open with Notepad. I was looking through it and it seems to have x,y,z axis' in ability to move it. Good luck!

Thanks for the input but the jury is still out on that suggestion.
I cannot see anything obvious in that file yet mentioning the heat blur effect so the a few things have to be tried.
Did you actually modify this Viper or is it a guess.
Could you paste the line of code here that represents this?

75% of it is x,y,z coordinates and yes it sorta kinda is still a guess.
