My buddies and I fly on Hawkflyers most nights. We'll be having a virtual airshow there October 7th if you want to come watch. The IP is:

FSHF.HOPTO.ORG

I used to fly just FSX, but now I fly a little FS2004 too because the other players are far steadier. The server will work with either, but if you're using FSX you'll need to download a free program to be able to connect. Let me know if that's an issue.

We've already got the schedule locked for the show, so sorry but I don't think you'll be able to get in on this one. We are working on having them fairly often though, so if you keep a watch on the Hawkflyers fourms you can get in on the next one.

I'm going flying right now to do some hops with a buddy.

You just have to download a program called FS Host Client. It comes in a .zip file. Just extract it and run it, no installation required. Go to Multiplayer -> Connect and type in the IP and your user name. Search for a session and join it. Then go to FSX and start a flight just like you would for single player. You'll see other people's aircraft if you're nearby the same as with FS04 multiplayer.

FS Host will run a server, but FS Host Client is what you need.

My screen name is under all of my posts (Tomcatboy48237). IM me sometime if you have any more questions.
