9-11...A day to remember

Post by Gunner » Mon Sep 11, 2006 9:20 pm

I was just grabbing some screenshots from my flight with the team Saturday night...I had the opportunity to fly slot because Rock had to work at his real job as a firefighter. That night I was really happy that Rock had to work, but just now, I got to thinking about what Rock, Redeye, and Striker do for a living.

Today we remember the thousands of innocent lives taken five years ago, both civilians and the many first responders that were lost trying to rescue them.

I would like to honor and thank Tab Harris and Reid Martin for the service they both provide as professional firefighters, and Chris Curtis for his service in the U.S. Air force. Thanks 3, 4, and 5.

Well thank you Gunner for your kind words.

I woke up that morning and watched the first tower go down. Because of my job, my first thought was for the firefighters that were going into the building.

A moment in my life i will never forget!

Salute to all first responders on that horrible day!
