Talk about seating position!

Well, here at work in the office today, had some time to goof off and look and some of the great cockpits that many are building these days, and I found this great little idea take a look!!!

And FYI for all you handy people, there are plans on the web site so you can build you very own, so head over to HomeDepot(Plug) and get the wood and saws its time to make an f-16 ejection seat out of plywood!!!! LOL, I sound like a redneck.

I wish I had one of those! I just have my computer, and a bunch of info on aircraft and I have models. That would be cool!

Hey Shabo I finished building my pit just before the beginning of July. I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best things I could have done to improve my virtual flying ability. It took me about 50 hours which included getting materials, cutting, sanding, painting, resanding and touching up the pit. Total cost $120. The best thing about it is that it is very stable and easily comes apart if needed. Oh by the way check out my armrest(thanks to Redeye

). I built this using Redeye's ideas and then wrapped it in black vinyl. It is custom fit to my forearm for added stability.

Looks cool!
Though i'm not sure about the "not so standard issue"... "kind of retarded" shoes with that guys flightsuit in the bottom picture. I'd make him buy the whole O Club beer for wearing those!
