Why don't ya jump on Ventrilo and join some of the others that are there for formation flying in the evenings?Gunner wrote:I've only been practicing for a month now, and three weeks of that was with AI. My current setup lets me set #1 on autopilot and I follow on my LAN - much better for speed control, & I can have him bank & such. I may be over-critcal of myself, but I want to be confidant I'm not going to mess you guys up when I tryout! No, I want to be sure I can impress the crap out of you...Give me some time, I've never flown formation b4, but I don't do anything halfway - you will see me soon.
It is a neat thought that you want to impress right away but some wise guy once told me that you can't be afraid to sh#t your pants sometimes infront of people and not feel bad about being a newbie. The Virtual Snowbirds are on there as well as the Virtual Thunderbirds to talk to and to practice with.
As far as the information on the FSSB mod and the NXT mod are concerned I can't show my appreciation enough towards input from the Virtual Thunderbirds. It really makes a difference reading your oppinions versus some of the others in the Cougar forum.
I am going to research into both mods and am leaning towards the NXT for now and I will probably have a FSSB farther down the road.
Thank you,
