LOMAC checklists & charts

Post by Lawndart » Mon Oct 17, 2005 6:37 am

For airport diagrams & charts covering Crimea and Caucasus check Combat Sim Check-Lists - Lomac section.

Red Dog supplies checklists for the Russian aircraft in LOMAC and in the F4 section, there are checklists, charts and apporach plates for all Falcon simmers out there as well!

Giving this thread a little bump!

For all you Hog-drivers out there, "Red Dog" has made a good set of A-10 checklists. Check 'em out!

Another tip is to print the maps of Crimea and Caucasus (see link to "Red Dog's" page in previous post) and then overlay them with transparency film (or laminate them). Then use a non-permanent marker to plot your nav points down from the briefing room before flying. These maps also have a bullseye for reference.

Also, be sure to check out Hog Basics (article by SimHQ). And if that's not enough, download the Lock-On training movies for the A-10A Thunderbolt II (converted to avi's from the training tracks by TekaTeka). The Hog videos include voice over to teach you the operation and weapons of the A-10.

A little brevity code review never hurt either.

Cya in the mud (soon hopefully)! 8)

Nifty indeed, thanks for the charts, I'll keep them on hand, would be useful to know abut the AFB other than where to approach it from...
