Where to find Vintage Thunderbird Videos?

Post by WCD-01/WILDCAT » Sat Mar 03, 2007 4:34 pm

Ok, so I have to do a project for my NJROTC class and I want to do it on the Thunderbirds. Anybody know where I can get vintage Thunderbird videos?

Changed the topic name to better reflect the question you were asking...

The Summer Thunder DVD set has a lot of Phantom era footage. Others have bits and pieces of their history and short clips of the F-84s, F-100s, T-38s and more... Start by looking here at our suggested Thunderbird DVD and book recommendations.

As far as finding vids online, it will be hard to dig up a lot of vintage footage, since all of it was before the media age set in. I know there's a short clip of F-4s on www.patricksaviation.com; keyword: Thunderbirds. For any longer sequences, you'll have to look into DVDs, eBay and Amazon...

Oh....also, did you talk to the owner of airshowstuff.com to ask his approval to use his material? Sorry, I am just really big on crediting proper sources and getting approval to use other's material, now that I am beginning to dabble into the world of professional photography and writing.
