Since I don't have BC2 on Steam but instead installed from the DVD, I wonder how I can buy it. Is it coming out on CD or something? It says that Vietnam will be available in the EA Store and Steam but how, digital download? From the 2.6Gb update we all downloaded, I would think we have Vietnam already installed in BC2 but just need to "unlock" it since it lets me go to the Vietnam menu. I haven't really checked how they plan on doing it.

If you buy it from EA store for the CD version, I believe it will unlock as a patch. (Part of the same .exe I think... hence the menu button).

Got it on Steam this morning.
My initial thought is I think it's good.
I was looking forward to flying the choppers as I used to in the original version, but haven't played any maps yet that have choppers in them.
I'm sure there are but not found any yet, would be dissapointed if they don't have them.
I like the feel of it and the colour of the screen makes it kind of 60's/70's.
Weps are great and gameplay is pretty much the same as BFBC2, works best in squads and teamplay.
Overall so far for me 8/10 until the choppers come in.

Don't rub it in. I am sending my video card in to try to get it back before Christmas. I still have to buy Vietnam too...

It's hands down the best 15 bucks I've ever spent on Steam. Excellent expansion.
Ells- There are two maps that use the chopper. Phu Bai Valley and Operation Hastings. Operation Hastings can be unlocked by the community once 69,000,000 squad actions are performed.

And the price was amazing too - £9.99 here in the UK.
Cool thanks Beaker.
Yeah I'd read about Hastings (my favourite map on BFV). I'll look out for Phu Bai Valley.
I'm on Steam as Ells228 if you guys want to add me.
