My VERY primative Dorm Room setup. Just ordered my Cougar and will be doing the FSSB mod.
So you're probably asking, "How the heck does he move his stick?" Well, I move the keyboard on top of the base of the monitor, and move the stick into its place. It gets kind of crowded, but its just something I gotta deal with.

Ahh cramped quarters, uncovered cinderblock, florescent lighting. That takes me back to the days of salivating over (among other things) LOMAC screen shots in my dorm room, flying F4 on my beat up F-22 and Suncom Throttle.
Do what you can to secure both your elbow and the FSSB once you get the mod. It will help tremendously.

Gunner, those are some neat pics, even the cartoon darwings! They really represent how serious of a hobby this is. I really like your chair, it looks like it works well. I really really need to do something like that in order to insure the smoothest inputs.
I have industrial strength velcro holding my controls to bar stools but I think i need to go a different direction with the whole seating arangement for extreme comfort and functionality.

LD is correct, What you see under the stick is industrial velcro - I just didn't have it wrapped over for the pic. I would have used zip-ties, but I need to be able to switch out my flying chair for the office chair, and I just remove HOTAS & store under the desk when not in use.SuperBugz wrote: BTW, Gunner, what do you have holding the stick and the throttle down. You have any ideas as to what to do with in that regard? I have an office chair that I sit in with the arm rests almost to the top of the desk, but not enough to where i could rest my elbow(s) on the arm rest(s) and reach the stick and throttle. I mean, my right arm would probably be okay after 6 years of baseball and pitching, but then again, different muscle usage.
