Steve's World 2006 AirPower Over Hampton Roads - Videos

Post by Rock » Thu Aug 24, 2006 12:26 pm

There are 9 excellent downloads on Steve's World of the USAF Thunderbirds during their airshow on Saturday May 6, 2006. This is an excellent resource to learn how the High Show is performed and also demonstrates the amazing timing of this year's team.

I just checked Steve's site the other day. These must have just came up! :D

I love their production. They certainly run a tight show with multimedia being a big part of the presentation. Gives you the chills and reminded me it's now been 4 months since I went to an air show. Can't wait to go again! It won't be too long now...

Some of these clips that demonstrate several maneuvers (such as the takeoff clip for instance, but all the other ones too) shows how fast their show really is!!! Hollywood can turn that diamond on a dime! Can you say they turn around quickly? Fingertip Takeoff, ROTO, MCSS and... swoosh! Already in the clover opener! Unbelievable!

Did you notice the "bunt" on the High-BB Rock!? Very nice...

Good find Rock!

P.S. Watching the ending gave me an idea. Talk to you guys later about it!

Personally, I think they should always do the ending that they did at Aviation Nation last year. Finger 4 with the missing man, THEN the delta pitch.
