Okay about my 747 question. Would it be possible for them to have hit some sort of a low air pressure pocket and drop several thousand feet?

I got a video, but it was no where near what I wanted it to be like. It's of the C-17, he's quite a bit higher, and he turns WAY farther up, so he doesn't pass directly over like they normally do. Then, a few minuets ago a Ch-47 passed over with some sort of refueling boom on it following another plane, but it wasn't a KC-10 or anything. I contacted my local airport, I guess I'm not the only one who has seen this, and they are looking into TA/RA issues on their radars. Heres the video link.

Man I definitely wouldnt be complaining if there were a Globemaster making turns outside my house/dorm! Heck, when the IL ANG Vipers fly over during class, I'm the only one in my class smiling!

Its not that I don't appreciate it, its just confusing, and I don't understand it.
