That is a great looking helmet! By some time, the HUD will be in the Visor

He He!.. Like that huh?
That was Rick (Team Boss) & Dave leaving Toronto last year. That was around 470KIAS and they started at about 4ft & ended up around 15-20ft to miss the approach end runway lighting. We'll be back for the Toronto show labour day weekend this year to defends our "Holy Crap that was LOW" title.
Gunner: Our "Lady" was born in 1962, apart from that you are right on the money dude!.. Just for the record, we can out-run the Viper, Hornet, & Tomcat. Those guys couldn't catch us if their lives depended on it. Zero to MACH 1 with full internal fuel takes approximately 62 seconds at standard pressure & temperature.
We've had the two seater to Mach 2.34!.. The single seaters WILL do 2.5 PLUS!! The F-16 & F-18 will crap out at 40,000ft around Mach 1.7 to 1.9. No off the line Viper will do the 2.2 Mach thats published.
We will not switch to the JHMCS helmet that has the AIM-9X target cueing retical & "Some" HUD symbology on it. Those babies cost $119,873.62!!!! I could buy a Ferrari for that!
We don't fly with a HUD because we don't need one. We have a Chelton EFIS Synthetic Vision MFDs, that encompasses our ADI & other Navigational & flight data. The Chelton, has TCAS II, all Approach plates for the US & Canada, our engine FTIT & EGTs, its a very powerful system that brings the aircraft "into date" in the avionics department & makes our job alot easier in the cockpit.
