Question regarding v1.1

Post by Towerboss » Thu Apr 27, 2006 11:43 pm

Have yall thought maybe reverting back to version 1.0 due to the SmartForce issues? I use to practice my tail off and was planning on trying out. Yall might even remember me. But, since the upgrade came out I've yet to get the game up and running can't figure it out. I was just curious?

Negative on going backwards... I believe none of us have had any StarForce issues and we're doing just fine with 1.12a now. Next step, likely 1.2 (or Black Shark) whenever it's released. Maybe someone else can help you better with your problem. Provide specific details of what is happening and how you installed everything, where the problem occurs etc and someone might be able to help?

My only tip: Do a complete uninstall, delete the folders associated with Lock-On and run a registry cleaner to get rid of any Lock-On/Flaming Cliffs residue. Then when you are absolutely sure your system is "Lock-On free", reinstall the game from scratch.

Original CD+Flaming Cliffs (can be either CD or Web version), then use only the 1.12a patch for the version of Flaming Cliffs you installed with (CD or Web)! (There are three different versions of 1.12a to my knowledge, the third one for the Russian CD version). Make absolutely sure you used the correct patch! If you have the correct files, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3 (Original+Flaming Cliffs+Appropriate 1.12a patch). Hope that helps!

You should be ok to use the ones on our website, even though the pack is labeled differently. I don't believe you should run into any problems using them. If you do, let me know.
