Hey guys,
you haven't seen me for a while and that because i'm trying to solve some connection problems. I'm living in another city now and i have an 8 mbit connection but i'm not living here alone and when ppl download (almost day and nite) they cut off the whole connection....... I'm trying to adjust router settings hoping to do something about it (like making a download limit or changing the connections priorities or something) but it didn't work so far, also because i'm not very known with routers.
Maybe someone can advice me about this "smc router" i got here.

I am not going to give any advice towards a SMC router, but I would like to put a bug in your ear about bandwith throttling. There are manufacturers out there that make devices capable of doing this, and the capability is built into some routers. Look into that. It's a sad thing when you want to have latency for gaming and somebody is sucking all the bandwith.
