I don't know if this will help at all.

I peiced this together with the audio from the Las Vegas Show on your site with some video clips I found on the web.

The reason why I put this together is because I can not seem to find a complete movie of the whole thunderbirds show from start to finish and I wanted to learn the program and also use it to work on my timing, say if i was one position then I know about how much time i needed to get back to show center for a particular manuever. I decided to peice together my own interpretation. However after The video gets going about 2/3rds of the way into it and stays prety well sync'd up until the bomburst. I used pictures that I have taken of the Thunderbirds to fill in gaps where I didn't have video to help make up the time.

One again I made this for personal use, and not to show off what i can do or anything. It's a training tool, and I plan on making a better one in the future.

Every day at working during my work I listen to it on headphones and think about what I would be doing, and now that I have the video clips it helps me keep the visual in my head.

:)

Rotorblade

P.S. Someday I will try out for the VTB.

Rotorblade,

Check out this link: http://tvworldwide.com/events/airshows/051112/. This is the link to the last Aviation Nation airshow in Las Vegas. If you scroll down to the bottom, you will see links to videos of the T-Birds airshow in sync with the music and narration. Check it out. Good stuff as well. There is also a sticky here in this forum that links to that site. Enjoy.

Hey RollerBlade

That is awesome what you did. I record the Nation Avation 2005 with my HD Camera and all I need to do is put it on DVD, never had the time to do it. I'm sure you put a lot time into it. Great Job!!!

I've been unable to get hold of the CD due to "Copyright" problems currently.

I have PM'd the list of songs along with its assigned maneuver to Lawndart & i'm sure he'll post it as soon as he's ready.

Thumper Out.

Hey LD

How's it going? Well I can't wait to see the new list of songs they have for 2006. Nellis Airshow is still a long wait so I might head to Beale AFB late June so I can check out the music and of course their show. I would like to head to Tyndall AFB sometime next year when the TB are there. Too bad I missed it this year and I have family in Florida. Oh well, next year :)

Awesome List LD

Post by amgv8400 » Sun May 28, 2006 5:24 pm

Hey Lawndart it's AMGV8

Awesome list there. Almost all of the songs you have listed I already have on CD. I still like the previous music they used last year, but I am sure these new musics will grow into me. Also the song "Papa was a rolling stone" is by Temptations I believe. Thanks again for the list. I hope everyone is having a Good Memorial Weekend!!!

Great list Lawndart! I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't even know the full titles to some of it!

The music we're using is the 80 percent solution - we expect to post updates soon. As you know, I can't release the song titles due to copy right and fair use issues, but I'm sure that I'll be able to (cough cough) point you in the right direction when/if we make changes.

Thanks again for the list!
