Pit Project...

Post by Bingo » Mon Oct 22, 2012 7:05 pm

Hey guys! I'm pretty new to pit building, but I've always wanted to create one. I'm trying to base my pit off of the L-39 Albatros. As flight lead for the Virtual Black Diamond Jet Team, I think it would be pretty awesome to have a pit similar to the L-39. The pictures I posted below is what I'm trying to create, but in my version. We have some events coming up with the real Black Diamond Jet Team, so building this project is going to be worth it. If you guys have any input on my project please let me know. I'm going to be building something to have a center stick in the middle.

Its a good start, what model are you building, maybe I can help locate some pictures or drawings, Next question is, How far do you want to go with it? Is this just start as a prototype? or is this the foundation of a permanent fixture? because I see fiberglass in the future. or thin sheet metal.
What you doing now, is how I ended up with an f-16 cockpit lol. so if I can help ...let me know
