Very nice Holiday! Can't wait to see it all come together. I sure wish my seat back had the proper lumbar area like that, I'm sure yours is more comfortable than mine.

I think it's a damn crime/shame you guys quit selling F-16 console/parts. Especially bad was the timing as just when I got out of the hospital after 6 months they were conveniently not available. Best of luck on that new product but it's definitely not for my taste.

Hey Holiday, very tidy setup you're building there, it would be a dream to have a pit like that. How is it getting in and out of? But aren't you worried that those empty spaces near the HOTAS might start slowly filling in?

Well, as for the empty spaces maybe eventually. The pit is an ongoing process that I will slowly keep adding to. As for getting in and out, it's easy. I exit the left side or put my feet on the seat pan and stand up and step off of the pit, LOL. ;)

Very nice Holiday! I can promise you it's easier to get in and out of than mine is! Maybe we should trade since you are much younger and certainly more nimble than I...

Gunner!!!
I don't know what to say, your pit has been my inspiration since I started this project, LOL. Now I have grown so attached to mine it's sentimental. Either way, getting in and out is the hardest part about having a home built pit, but once your in, it's so worth it!!! Nothing better friend, and good to hear from you. ;)

Now all you need is a BIG ol' LCD in front of that baby. Or maybe a projector...?
