is it just me or this bird is a thunderbird ?
i realy think he lost speed on that manouver, it's hard to see , but it looks like it lost it's engine becouse you can see the afterburner "fire" on the engine , but when it starts to pull up , the engine goes down ....

Yes, that is a Thunderbird. It happened in Fall of '03 during the Max Climb-Split S takeoff. The investigation report can be found online, but the short story of it is that the rollover for the Split S was initiated almost 1,000ft too low and the pilot still managed to almost pull out of the dive, realizing his mistake as soon as he had rolled inverted and started downhill. The reason had to do with zero-field elevation in the first place, but read the report and news yourself. It's avail here:
