The Blue Impulse, the flight demonstration team of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, is celebrating 50 years this season. The Avere Group is currently seeking financial sponsors for the one-hour documentary for television broadcast worldwide and DVD edition with special features:
Japan's Blue Impulse Documentary and Media
The Avere Group most recently made the documentary America's Team: Being a US Air Force Thunderbird released in 2007.

Nice find. 
Certainly, it's a special year for this traditional team.
In these months, they train 5 to 6 days per week to seek their perfection standard, they got used to. Also, they will change some maneuvers for this year, they have in their display repertoire.
Here is an hot picture that was taken today (9th of March).
#3 missed the timing though.

Very cool - looking forward to seeing their documentary!
Based on what I saw of the Virtual Blue Impulse at VFAT, they put on a great show.
