Looks great man. One question...
Where did you get the stickers I presume?

Thanks Gunner.
Today we purchased the paint and wood, but the wood was to big for the mini van I had to drive , so tomorrow I will take my truck and start it
Can't wait. Pics will be included.

So Two questions,
How do I select the parts I want to print?
And Second, will the part I selected print from a standard printer at 104%?

Day 1
Well, day 1 was extremely slow. Me and my dad as it turns out are very meticulous. Today we have only gotten one 4x8 piece of ply completely "drawn". I must say it looks bigger in the pictures then it does on wood.
Pics in a couple hours.

Good to hear that you are underway Luse. It's going to take alot of effort to get the pit done but you'll be thankful in the long run. It took me a week straight of measuring, cutting and painting but it has been worth it for sure. You'll notice big improvements in your formation flying skills and it will make flight simulation much more enjoyable.

My biggest gripe was that the way it is setup the screens were just a bit to far away from me.

Solution: 42" or larger 1080p LCD...
As they said in "The Right Stuff", "No bucks, no Buck Rogers".

Day 2:
Well today started at noon. With things moving alot faster we have gotten another board measured (with some confusing moments beacuse of the 3/4' Ply), but nonetheless everything is on schedule for cutting and painting to begin sinday.
Pics will be uploaded of days one and two soon as I find my camera cable.

Woo Hoo!
It's done
I am typing this to you from it as we speak. It's such an awesome thing, it will take some getting used to, but is so much better, and alot more comfortable.
Pics soon as I find my USB cord. (Think my brother may have eaten it).

Sorry to revive an old post but nice pit. I got the blueprints for the ABC yesterday will be starting it after Christmas. Hey, in the plans it doesn't have the exact measurements. Do you know where I can get them or can you send me them?
