Low Camera

Post by franc01sss » Wed Feb 06, 2008 6:23 pm

In your movie Smoke On, the camera is almost as low as the ground. How can you do this? When I play with my F-views, I can only be as low as the pilot's head.

Lock on\view\view.cfg

Change the following line from 1 to 0 & save:
CameraTerrainRestriction = 0;

Using an F11 cam will also allow you to place the camera anywhere you want without having to turn off ground restriction. Most of the cameras in Smoke On are F11 cams.

It's not working.

I'm talking about a view like at 2:01 in Smoke On.

Not working !!! Still grrrr

I know I have to set F11 on Razdolnoye and then roll in, or roll out with my mouse to move the camera, but it still won't go under the plane.

I didn't say anything in this thread yet, but ok... :? :lol:
  • Follow Gunner's instructions to disable CameraTerrainRestriction (see his post above)
  • Hit either Ctrl-F2 or Ctrl-F11 to "unlock" the camera from an object
  • Slew the camera, using the "zoom keys" on the NumPad to any position (CameraTerrainRestriction = 0; means it's off, and you'll be able to slew the camera underground if desired)
