Installing mod

Post by pbrad » Thu Jun 14, 2007 7:11 pm

Only about half of the Thunderbird mod installs. Some, like the F-15.cmd, do not install. I am using v1.12b, loman 2.1 final (patched). I start lomac but nothing has changed. Anyone?

Sometimes you got to uncheck "Install with CDDS" and then probably have to hit Install twice. If that doesnt help let me know.

P.S.- did you get mine and sabers email? check ur comcast address

The most common mistake people make is to unzip the mod before placing it in LoMan's addon directory. DO NOT unzip the zip file, make sure you only place the zip in this directory.

The checkbox: "When possible, always install textures in CDDS files" can be checked when installing our mod, although you can try without as well.

I'd uninstall the mod (click a few times to uninstall) and then re-install it by going through each step outlined in our FAQs.

I did as you suggested, but it still is not working. It says that the install is complete, yet, it is not.

I will retry.
