I got an article on our forums of federal officials taking 4 un-commissioned F-14A's with just radar and engines missing. The dumb*** Navy guy that was supposed to make sure they were de-mil'ed just sold them for $2-4,000 each
back in 1999 and sooo yeah if I heard of some none working F-14's being sold for that much than hell, I would chop one and use its cockpit for LOMAC
and then have another one for a toy
and guess what the best part about them having no engines......my cousin has access to anything Pratt & Whitney engine related

That's pretty crazy, further into the article is has one dealer buying a frame for $5k then turning around and selling it for $50k. Too bad big brother had to step in and seize them. If I got my hands on one I'd be keeping it a secret that's for sure.
Back on topic, I have to wonder how long it took to that Ozzie to build that rig and what his electric bill is like.
