I was wondering, does any of the virtual thunderbirds use paint flying as a technique?

BIG YES! Sight picture, flying paint... all the way! There are some Diamond "sight pictures" in our gallery with explanations straight from the real source! We typically tighten these up and fly the paint even tighter, but in general you place Boss' sidewinder rail tip just above the flagpanel and fly it there the entire time no matter what Boss does with his jet.
