What type F-16?

Post by Darrin » Thu Sep 29, 2005 2:24 pm

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I truly enjoyed the 2006 Teaser video! :)

What type F-16 do you all fly? Is it Kirk Olssen's freeware version? (And if it's not, I hope I didn't offend anyone.)

Thanks,

Darrin

LOL, no Darrin, we fly LOMAC, not FS2004. The net code is entirely too unstable for close formation flying. I suggest you take a look at our FAQ page on the website for anymore questions you might have.

FS netcode isn't unstable. It updates ever like .5 seconds instead of .05 like Lomac. :!:

I think you know what I meant Piper, unstable while playing the game, too much latency when flying close formation at 400 knts. We have discussed this issue plenty of times in this forums as I am sure with your # of post you are quite aware by now.

Okay, I didn't think it was an FS9 aircraft. That F-16 is too beautiful.

Now I just need to go find out what LOMAC is.

Thanks Striker!

One more thing...

By the way, I did look in the FAQ section before I posted my 1st question up in this thread, but it just talked about forum stuff. Is there another FAQ page I should be looking into? :?

Thanks again,

Darrin

Have you been to our website yet? :? www.virtualthunderbirds.com. The FAQs are located in the library section! The FAQ in the forum are just standard phpBB FAQs that come with the forum by default.
