Solo Delta Reference

Can we get the references used by the right solo when he's in the dela position?

The Delta is flown in "diamond". What that means is that the Solos use the same spacing as the Diamond pilots aboard the Delta, so use the same formation references to line up on the inner right wingman.

But is there a way to know it without looking at the wingman.

Well...

Not really, but you can try to fly the same primary reference line and figure out how far laterally you need to be to fit exactly one entire wingspan between you and the Boss' jet. Once you have an inner wingman though you'll have to fly the sight picture off him instead, while monitoring the Leader and anticipating his moves.
