Normal Diamond Sight Picture
Missile rails aligned.
- Step 1: Align the front tip of the Leader's missile rail at the back edge of his canopy for proper fore/aft and vertical stack (this is your primary sight reference line).
- Step 2: While continuing to hold "the line" (described in Step 1), adjust the lateral spacing until the long rivet/fastner row on the vertical tail is aligned with the
trailing edge of the Leader's wing (this is your secondary reference used for spacing).
Remember not to judge spacing by the apparent size of the reference aircraft. Always use the alignment instructions for each sight picture (textural description) regardless of monitor size, resolution, padlock / TrackIR and personalized zoom settings.
