Whats the dillio with that? It doesn't matter, tags aren't realistic anyways.

Here is the point. If you follow the procedure and attempt to replace the kc-10 with the f-15c (instead of the f-16 as suggested in this thread), you get an f-15c that flies like a kc-10, NOT the VTB mod f-16 flying like a kc-10.

Also I should mention that the kc-10 doesn't seem to want to do aerobatics...even when shaped like an f-16 ;-) Otherwise, the kc10 does hold speed MUCH better than the fighters in lock on. Huge props for this suggestion, works great.
With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good.®

What are you talking about? All KC-10's can do loops and torque rolls and hamemr heads. ;)

I finally made a LoMan file that does the work for you..

http://www.alderwasguckstdu.de/Download ... rbirds.zip

It goes on top of the F-16 Mod. After install, the VTB F-16 mod will show yellow in LoMan b/c I had to change your meinit.xml file.
It includes the canopy lines. :-) It is still WIP though.

Hey, how do you get the modified tanker, which is a grey F-16, to look like a thunderbird?

Hi there,

Sorry to see so many people having trouble with this file. LoMan 4.0 (Beta3) was used to create the file, and is needed to install it. It doesn't work with 2.1. The very latest version of LoMan (now called "ModMan") can be found here

...as well as the older 4.0 version.

Try it with 4.0, it should work.

@ Airchief: It should be possible to replace the grey default textures with the VTB paint scheme, but haven't had the time to do it yet.
