I'd be interested in knowing how to to this one move that can be seen in this popular movie:

At about 1:07 you see a, looks like a BAE hawk do some sort of a spinning move with the back half of the airplane. Is this possible in any other aircraft? Or is it one of those moves like the cobra where you have to have certain airplane dynamics?

Yes it is possible to do that with lockon, its even possible to do that with every plane. I did that before with the Su, the only thing is that it goes slower than with a small trainer aircraft. The way to do it? Hard to explane in a few words but it is somewhat like moving the stick around in great cycles.

That manever is from the Freece Tricolori, Italy's demo team. I have no clue what it is but I can find out.

No idea but it looks sweet. I'd like to impress my friends with that one sometime. Anybody got a detailed explanation? It looks like it's been done with thrust vectoring, one engine at a time.

It can not be done with thrust vectoring because the Freece Tricolori flys the Aermacci MB339. Its a trainer aircraft
Here is a unoffical site.

Frazer pretty much summed up the maneuver, except rudders are also coordinated to make the nose swing around thru a circle in the sky.

There are alot of moves you can do by moving your flight stick around in giant circles

. I think I'm getting the hang of it though

Next step is to do that manouver, still don't know the name of it, and stay aligned with the runway

And not to forget, keeping the same altitude
