I have seen the Thunderbirds video posted on your links site and the pilots (2,3,4) have certaint markings on the boss' jet to position the formation. Does anybody know of these markings?

Of course! You're kidding right?!
In our image gallery under "references" then "sight pictures" we have the Diamond and Trail views to "fly paint". The descriptions are pretty much straight from the real source, although the easy way of describing what to fly paint off of is to place the missile rail on the top of the flag panel on Boss's jet. Also, the spacing in these pictures are of a "spread" Diamond, something they'd use early in the season. We as Virtual Thunderbirds, typically fly much tighter than these, but using the same "paint"! One way to put it is that these have 3-5 foot spacing, while we fly 12-18 inches nowadays.
Hope this helps!
