SilverOne,

Not necessarily, but we only recruit for the purpose of being able to fly as well as anyone of the current Virtual Thunderbirds, but also by having the most cohesive group of pilots willing to work as a team. We've gone from having 6 flying positions to 8 pilots now (which is our current number of pilots), then expanded to 12 slots and now we're just recruiting for "unlimited" number of positions. Although, to earn your number on the team you'll need to have the right stuff, be able to fly with the main team and want to successfully be part of a highly dedicated and skilled team. The Virtual Thunderbirds are not built around being a squad of many members given the kind of flying we do, so even though we don't have a cap on the number of pilot positions anymore, you probably won't see us having that many pilots on the roster even in the future. The tryout phases is where you can see if you have what it takes, learn what we're all about, progress, have a blast and possibly step it up a notch and go for a spot on our roster.
