Congrats to Convertible. After review with the Boss it has been decided that he has shown the stuff to move to the next phase. This will involve practicing at times with the regular team and continuing to progress. So, how does one move from Phase one to Phase 2 and then get your number on the Team? Well, there are many things to consider: but the main thing is you have to be close in formation. . .not perfect but consistently working in close. Know the SOP cold. All VTBs need to know the SOP in its entirety. Even though you aren't leading you need to know what your lead is going to do next in the show. Attendance is extremely important. We understand that everyone has busy lives and your life is FIRST. But when you do have time you need to practice, practice, practice. And not to scare anyone away, but once you are in Phase 2 then the work really begins to tighten your position, timing and everything else. Then when all that is done the current VTBs 1-8 decide through consensus if you will contribute to the team and then you get your number. We truly appreciate the effort that all of you have put in and will continue put forth. Keep it up. We will always need new pilots to take over in the event that one of the current team members retires or moves off of the show team to a support role. And there will be openings. Thanks again!!
Bon Jobie

Thanks for all the support. I am very excited and hope that the rest of you can join in quickly. The competition is what keeps me on my toes and working hard. Thanks Bon Jobie for your continued support and advice. Likewise to LawnDart and Burner for your support as well. I look forward to continuing my education in formation flying in hopes of joining the team someday.
