Great first vid, I especially liked the music, simple and not the norm of what's in Flight Sim vids.
Starting a new team is big undertaking, you should decide what kind of team you want to make (plane to fly, formations to perform, team dynamic). The team of your dreams might already be formed, there are about 5 major teams flying LOMAC right now. You may want to look into a tryout with them b/f undertaking the great task of creating a successful LOMAC formation aerobatics team.
Overall, goodluck, you look like you're off to a good start.

Its not yet offical so i will probabaly go to a couple tryouts if possible.
However right now its looking like we our more likely to create a brand new team. Right now ive noticed its hard to find any decent pilots and i can see that other formation groups are having the same problem.
Right now the formation group only consits of me, karl and sometimes another friend matt.
We normally fly at least once a night and ive noticed since last nights pratice that one day can make a major difference we are currently praticing many types of aerobatics while still in formation!.

What program do I need to view this video. I can't get it to play on my computer. It downloads in a web browser like QuickTime is going to play it, then it doesn't play anything.

Fires up in Windows Media Player just fine for me! Check your file associations.

Inspiration can go a long way cant it? Auston, with your vid problem. I prefer Windows Media player, but some how realplayer got its self installed and it became my defualt player. I'd give it a try with real player.
Not a bad video with those Sukhoi's. Keep it up.

not to hijack the thread, but I don't know how to change file extensions in Windows 2000... Anyone? I'd love it get it where QuickTime never comes up when I click on a link. It doesn't even launch an external application, it just plays all my videos right there in a new browser window.

not sure about windows 2000. In xp all you have to do is go into folder options while in a folder and make sure "Hide file extensions for know file types" is unchecked, and then rename the file with a .exe, .wmv, .avi or whatever... did that help at all?
Or you can try right clicking on the file, and as long as its not in a zip, you can click "Open With" and then choose your desired thingy.

Sounds like you're getting invitations to "established" teams already from this video. Good job! As far as movie making goes, for better visual esthetics always disable the menu bar and labels in external views when you capture footage. It's a tell tale sign rookie movie making!
To make sure it plays in Windows Media Player (re-associate the files), just open Windows Media Player. Go to the "tools" menu, click on "options...". Once the options window opens, click on the "file types" tab. Make sure that the checkbox for "Windows Media Video file (wmv)" is checked with a white background. If it's checked and gray or not checked at all, you'll need to re-associate the file exclusively with Windows Media Player. To do so, uncheck the box and recheck it so that it has a check mark and a white background. Then hit apply! This does all the same work for you as going into folder options etc would do and trying to manually set file associations...
Hope this helps!
