smoke on ground

Is there anybody here that knows if you can smoke on ground of will there ever be.

No, and not likely in LOMAC, Fighter Ops says it will be possible when its released.

Just a question about smoke while were on the subject. You know when you go to a airshow and usually be for a fingertip, or pretty much any takeoff, they put on the smoke, the smoke doesn't just drift off into the wind, it gets shot back very fast. Is this because thats how hard the smoke is being sent out, or is it because the engines blast is, well, blasting it behind them? I aslo notice that with stall moves, or moves like the high alpha pass.

I'd say you're right on the money here Iqcorsa. Here is how the calls go for the Thunderbirds during take off:
"Thunderbirds Check - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Thunderbirds, Let’s Run ‘em Up Smoke Check, Smoke On Ready Now Smoke Off Ready Now Thunderbirds Release Brakes Ready Now,
Burners Now"
The Turbine on each aircraft will be forcing enormous amounts of ignited fuel/air mixture backwards. With the Smoke on call the smoke will come on and be forced backwards by the natural force of the turbine. When the smoke is turned off, brakes are released and Burners are kicked in there is huge amounts of force being exerted to move the aircraft forward for takeoff. This will not only push the smoke backwards but burn it off as well. Hope this makes sense.

Well said Rock! Meticulous as always in describing the callout sequence and how they run up their engines prior to the smoke test. Good call on the jetblast!
As far as the dissipating smoke, it's A.K.A. Va-pooh-rize (or vaporization). Same reason why the smoke isn't visible while the jets are in afterburner as you might see occasionally on a windy day inbound for the High-BB crossover and one guy is fighting a fierce headwind.

probably so but that's fs2004 , and that doesn't has graficks like fighta ops, but i <3 fs , basicly the game of my life , but now with lomac and fighta ops it's a competely new chalenge, before it was just puttin the plane on the air, and make shure i did evreything that i would do on real life , now it's manouvers and radars n all that stuff.

How can those guys behind see through the smoke on T/O hehe. I've been to countless airshows, mostly the Blue Angels because the T-birds are far way from me. I notice they get in the fingertip about halfway down the runway, to give 2 3 4 5 and 6 enough room, smoke on, smoke off and the up thrust. Then comes Fat Albert trying to navigate their way through the smoke

Are you using the

command in the sig box? Also note the max dimensions per the forum rules.
As far as the BA takeoff, they take off in fingertip from the get go and transition into diamond immediately upon gears up. The Blues also use smoke on for the duration of the take off roll, but the reason it's not visible is because of the afterburners. Once the call is made for the deselection of afterburner, the smoke becomes visible as is the case in the BA - burner loop on takeoff. The heat from the burners vaporizes the smoke. The Thunderbirds do not take off with smoke on however, but also use a fingertip formation with diamond transition on takeoff.
