I have about the same specs and I am planning on upgrading well b/f FO hits the shelves. So I'd say no, our system will not play any next gen games.

i never seen any more game asking for more ram that u guyz have, and your 128 mg card will probably run too.

dude i know its hard , now im thinking on buyin a geforce 7800gtx the 256 mg version to keep my sistem shaped upbut if you realy dont wanna spend too much money like that just buy the GT, that will run like 8 fps lower and has the same tecnologies, if fighter ops doesnt run , will probably be becouse your grafick card ... and i DONT think ANY game will ask for a 512 mg card ... cuz that's more for 3d grafics.

here's my specs :

2 gs of ram
x600
775 3.6
xtreme fidelity

well it runs on the X-Plane engine, just improved obviouslly. X-plane lagged for me only when i turned up the building count by alot, when i toned it down and removed clouds it runs fine, hopefully it will be the same with FighterOPS.

Hey Guys,

At this stage we can't give you a definate answer to that question as it is still early days. All we can say is that we are building the game to be playable at a mediocore system at the time of release.

It's covered in this thread on the Fighter Ops forums:

Fighter Ops Minimum Specs

Also, I know most of you are aware that we purchased the X-Plane code, however it has been extensively re-written and Fighter Ops will not resemble X-Plane in anyway.

Great site VTB's!

ok so how about mine, will i be able to crank the sliders all the way.....

Intel Pent. D 940 3.2 Ghz
Asus P5N32-SLi Deluxe boar
4 gigs ram
500 GB HDD
(2) 7900 GTX's
Track IR 4 pro
Hotas Cougar

21" viewsoninc CRT

will this suffice to be able to crank the sloders or will i have to upgrade to something better than this?

FighterOps and the VThunderbirds

Now this sim looks to be very nice. I can honestly say I am looking forward to seeing the VTBs in that sim flying the F16. Should make for some great videos, should FOps have a similiar "track recording" capability like LockOn does or something better.
Hopefully it will be in stores sooner than later.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Cobra pretty much said all there is to say on system specs.

In regards to the recording options, and actually everything that can be important regarding an aerobatics module.
We are working close together the VTB to make sure we have all angles covered.

Actually everybody can bring in his idea's and 5c. in this thread.

Looking forward to anything you want to bring to the table.

Sincerely,

The X800 is better than the 9600XT.
