Finally got v1.1 downloaded from the .ru site. Slooooooowww. Plug in LoMan, patch LoMan, click on the 1.1 setup icon. Reboot! Try to open Flaming Cliffs. StarForce splash screen comes up and asks for my serial #. (Guess it was a good thing I saved it!) type it in. <poof> "contact your customer support."

Sent an email to lockon.ru with the generated report.

I have a lot more to say to you guys but that is not for right now. I have installed Lock-On Gold and everything was fine as soon as I installed it. I went in game and played around a little bit. I opened the box pulled out the two discs and installed them. There is no manual with this and now it is asking mre for a serial number. Star Force is saying it isn't a licensed copy but there is no key anywhere on these discs or the case. Has anybody ran into this? If so or even if not what do I do next?

Which version of Lock-On did you buy? Lock-On: Modern Air Combat + Flaming Cliffs or Lock-On Gold that includes Flaming Cliffs. If I remember correctly there were some issues with the latter and they should have a replacement disc available upon contact that would work. You'd either have a serial in the jewel case or if you downloaded Flaming Cliffs, you'd receive a serial from Eagle Dynamics site. This serial + your machine code are then to be used to log onto SF website and produce your activation code, but that's for the download version. For the CD version, all you'll need is what's in the box. I'm not entirely sure regarding the Gold version and how things got messed up with that. First, determine exactly which version (LOMAC CD + D/L FC, LOMAC CD + FC CD or LOMAC Gold incl. an FC disc) that you have? If you have Gold, I'm afraid I cannot help much more, but do some research regarding the "replacement disc". I'd suggest http://forum.lockon.ru Good luck!

Yeah it is Gold. That kinda sucks....How do I go about that? Any secrets on making it a faster replacement?

No idea. Never dealt with the Gold version. There should be info regarding this in the other Lock-On sites/forums and I'm sure there are answers if you search.

Talking to THunderbird 12 and just going to buy and download the 1.1 from them and be done with it. Thanks for the help with this so far...Look forward to holding the slot with you guys soon.
