One suggestion, avoid installing anything on the C: drive if possible. Or at least not in the program files folder if running Vista and/or Win 7.

Sorry I can't help with the error, but maybe check the FAQ at the ED Forums.

And the usual "run as administrator".

@Beaker's idea- Um... maybe I'll do that.

Greetings, Panther! Thanks for your reply. It's no problem. Yeah, not sure I can do that C: drive thing you speak of. Then I'd be installing it on an external harddrive. Thanks though!

Good News:

I do not get any errors when playing the game and everything seems fine. I just hate that when I save my settings, one or another doesn't work when I start playing. Other than that, it's a great game.

Off the note, Panther... I recall you as a different position as now see you as a solo. Congrats on this promotion! Hope you're enjoying it. ;)

Many of us have occupied various positions over the years and it's not a promotion - it's teamwork!

Camera and music/narration is as much hard work as flying (if not more), but without everyone doing their part equally and exceptionally well, it doesn't matter.

P.S. I've flown #1, 6 and 5 for about two years in each position and look forward to one day being "promoted" to #7... ;)

Yep, well aware. And you create such a great demonstration thanks to teamwork, dedication, and many other things.

Lawndart, I've been watching the VTB long enough to see you in each one of those positions. ;)

You know what'd be even cooler when/if you become #7? Releasing the #7 double-seater project. I believe I saw something regarding it on the forum or a member showed it to me. ;)

The project you're referring to is news to me.

Btw, the #7 jet is a C model... #8 is the D model and often used as a spare.

As they say, you learn something every day. ;)

Well, then I guess something very weird is happing in Reid's cranium.
I just recall some pictures someone sent regarding a VTB two-seater they were designing. I'll bump this if I can find the file on my PC that was sent or the log.

Cheers!

No worries. What I meant is, we aren't designing a D model "in house" and there's currently no one else contracted by our company doing so either. Hope that clears it up!
