Hey Guys,

Apologies for not updating you recently but the team has been hard at work as usual behind the scenes.

I would also like to say it was a pleasure meeting Jim and Igor at ITEC a couple of weeks ago and we thank you for your continued support with our project and hope the show was good for you.
P.S. The A-10 along with the Black Shark was awesome!!

Mods
We have been getting our teeth into FC2 and the benefits of it, now that a lot of functions have been opened up to the community.
We are currently testing our mod that has been converted to FC2 and will be releasing that soon.
Rattler is also hard at work fixing the bugs you reported to us in our big mod for FC1.12 and we hope to release that soon after some extensive testing.

VEAO Typhoon Live
If you are in the UK on the 3rd and 4th of July then take a trip to the Waddington Air Show where you can see the VEAO Typhoon battle it out in a head to head fight in the RAF Recruiting tent.

3d Cockpit
Crow is also hard at work on a 3d cockpit for the Typhoon that may be used in FC2.
More info on that soon but for now I'll leave you with some 3d renders until the next update.

Thanks Beaker.
I have friends in high places that may help out with that.

I've got pretty much most of the symbology that we need to get in there.
For now we'll use the F15 HUD for testing.

The F-15 HUD will not be there when you put a .lom cockpit in.

I've been in contact with Eagle Dynamics about getting a working HUD and MFD screens in my F-16 cockpit. I approached them with my idea of how I thought they were implemented into the game, and a developer replied and told me I was exactly right. Now it didn't work, instead the little remnants of HUD that were there before were completely gone now. I went back and asked the guy why this was happening, and after he double-checked his references he said that unfortunately this method only works for .cmd models like the stock cockpits, not new .lom cockpits like mine. There is a new technique for adding the HUD and MFD's though that ED uses to make their new pits (i.e. Ka-50 in BS), but that requires a new "cockpit module" to be written for the aircraft's cockpit you want to replace. So he said it was possible for me to make a new module for the F-15 and get those systems working, but as far as getting instructions at this time he couldn't release any publicy. Plans to release some kind of SDK are they will release "something sometime hopefully in the near future".

Hey Blaze,
We've been playng around with cockpits and hud's for the VRA team with varying degrees of success and failures.

I have had the same chat with the ED guys too.
If we have to wait for tools then at least the model will be ready and complete.
We also have to look at how to integrate MFD's also, so still a lot of work to be done but steps in right direction now at least.

Cheers,
Ells.
