Absolutely amazing model!
Secondly, be sure to take a look at this SimHQ thread with screenshots of one of ED's third-party 3D modeling partners recently posted preview shots of their C-17 Globemaster-III model in development for DCS.

Funny, that's exactly what I said in a different forum the other day too. Now, if we could only get a flyable F-16 too would just be fabulous!

Mmmm...
Anyone else notice the new terrain, and even the grass on the side of the runway. Looks sharp!
P.S. Thanks Panther for the heads up.

Wow! Those are some ridiculously good looking models - can't believe the level of detail. I don't have Black Shark but will certainly be picking up the A-10.
The last chopper sim I flew was Longbow 2 - that was a lot of fun, great sim for its time; so maybe I should get Black Shark, looks like it's pretty good stuff - I enjoy sims with a steep learning curve/high level of realism.

Looks like they fixed the shadows in DCS as well. Even with the same old terrain and clouds the updated lighting has improved the looks tremendously.
Looking forward to this.
PS- That moving map suck, it shows nothing but mountains when you can clearly see an OCEAN off the right side of the pit.

That's one sexy looking bird!
Gee whiz info: The A-10 has the same engines (TF-34) as as the S-3 Viking, and the same powerplant is also used on the Canadair regional jets in its civillian version (CF-34). Thrust output varies with model number, but not by much...
