Hey All,

We want to start our own Phantom but I have problems with the program.
I see the follow message when I start PhantomControl.exe
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.bat\Config\Modeltimer\modeltimer.lua not found

Then I hit ok and see the the next message:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.bat\Config\export\export.lua not found

Then I hit ok and see the the next message:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.bat\Config\world\world.lua not found

Then I hit ok and see the the next message:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\lockon.bat\Config\export\export.lua not found

Then I hit ok and see the next message:
phantomcontrol.ini not found

Then, phantom control is started but I can't close the program, now I see the next message:
Invalid filename

Can someone help me???

Is it a internet connection problem? I have tested it on 3 computers in our house but all with the same problem. I have installed the Phantom Control with LoMan and ModMan. Nothing will help.

Kind Regards,

Dutchman

In your path you have a folder called "\lockon.bat\". I don't have a folder like that, make sure this is correct? My path is "...\Lock On\Config\...".

What OS are you running? If Vista, you must check the .exe properties to run as administrator when using ModMan/LoMan and for Phantom Control as well! (XP doesn't have this problem).

You are right, but that's not the problem here.
I do have two systems.
One Vista on my laptop and one XP one my desktop.
Installed:
Lock On & Flaming Cliffs & Patch 1.12a for XP and 1.12b for Vista.
The Lock On works very well and is installed in my C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On

Now I install Phantom Control 04a with ModMan (I know for Vista you must install ModMan in a root directory).

The Phantom is installed (checked the files in Config folder etc).

Click on PhantomControl.exe in my C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On and there is the problem. Why a message with lockon.bat in the link? I really don't know! And it's in Vista and XP (same problem) so I think it's not a Vista problem. How does the .lua files work? Maybe I did have a wrong settings from ports?

Damn, I hope someone can help me. Thank you Lawndart for your quick response, but I can't change the link in the error message. And if you use Lock On Gold (Europe) you do have a lockon.bat in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On folder. You can start Lock On with lockon.bat and with lockon.exe.

I have deleted lockon.bat and reinstalled the Phantom but it will not work. Maybe Phantom Control is based at the Russion/UK version? I think all versions are the same.

I hope that someone can help me...

Does the Lockon.bat make that 'lockon.bat' folder when you run Lockon using lockon.bat instead of lockon.exe?
I also don't have the lockon.bat folder, my Phantom Control also doesn't ask for that folder.

What you could try: Make an extra folder in the lockon main folder and call it: lockon.bat.
Copy all needed files to that folder, maybe it will help.

-EDIT-
Just found out that Phantom Control uses the original installed Lockon.
So make sure you don't change the folder name of the original installation of Lockon!
So when you try to create the lockon.bat folder, create it in the original lockon folder!

Ok, thank you all.
I have found the problem. It's the Lock On GOLD (European) version. The Phantom doesn't work with it.

I have now installed the normal Lock On with addon Flaming Cliffs and it will work!!!
But I don't know why the installs are different. This Lock On indeed doesn't have a lockon.bat file.
