Aviation Nation - Las Vegas
Aviation Nation - Las Vegas
Hello everyone. I'm going to Aviation Nation this year, and as you know Las Vegas is right there. I am 15 years old now, and wondering if anyone has some suggestions on what to do in Vegas since I'm under 18. If anyone has been there and recommends anything fun or entertaining to do there, that would be great! Looking froward to seeing some of you there. I know it's still a ways off, but why not plan ahead right?

You can visit a lot of things, there is a rollercoaster on the top of a tower, and some cool rides there too.
Visit the strip and it's awesome casinos (I think you can visit them without playing) not sure...
Go see Chris Angel and Le cirque du soleil (a Quebec production).
Fountain show in front of the Bellagio.
Anyway, don't spend more than 4 days in Vegas, you'll find it boring if you can't get into the casinos.

The "Big Shot" on top of the Stratosphere tower is a must ride!
You won't be bored in Vegas, especially not with Aviation Nation as well.

Thank you both Pred and Lawndart! I'm definitly going to have to check out kart racing And I'd love to see Chris Angel live too, so it's a win win. There are a ton of things in Vegas, could always wing it and wouldn't get bored right? Well looking froward to seeing some of you there, it's still a ways off, but all the same. Thank you again!
How long are you going to be in Vegas for? What kind of money are you looking at spending? Can you go out of town? I ask these questions because the activities available are quite numerous and diverse. There's a gabillion (OK, maybe not that many!) shows on the Strip, many are family friendly. The Hoover Dam is a good choice. Or a flight/tour to the Grand Canyon. Red Rock is a beautiful drive. You can tour the Nevada Test site. Plenty of amusement park type things at Circus Circus. If you like guns there are a few places that will let you fire various "machine guns" (might need to be 18, not sure). There really is a lot.
