[Vidéo] The Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle at training

Post by kerdougan » Sun Sep 28, 2008 7:50 am

First, for those who don't know the Patrouille Suisse Virtuelle. We are an aerobatic patrol based in Switzerland and France which is inspired by the Swiss aerobatic team that flies on F-5E.

Following an excellent trailer released a few weeks ago, the PSV shows up again and make you discover the atmosphere of our evening trainings.

Those French speaking videos are the first of a pack that will make you discover the different aspects of our team. They are directed by a professional videomaker callsigned Gato, you can find his site here. He really makes amazing videos so don't hesitate for taking a look at his creations.

Now that we talked about the creator, let's talk about the creation. It's been edited from the 13th June 2008 training track. At this time the line up was:

Leader: FLAPS
Inner right wing: FAHRENHEIT
Inner left wing: GAZ
Slot position: myself
Outer right wing: JP
Outer left wing: MANU

We also have the HUG's voice as guest star. He is our former leader.

This video is a shorten version of that night and program but a longer one will be released later. Yes, I insist about THAT program because many things have changed since that time...but not the joking atmopshere that you can hear at the end of this video

So, seat back, relax and bonne vidéo! :D

I already posted a reply here about the trailer. Good job!

What is the first song (heard clearly between 0:57-1:46) in the trailer?

The movie is also very well done! Some interesting camera work and the editing is top notch! As I already mentioned in my reply in the other forum, don't forget to eliminate the menu bar ("Y" key) when capturing footage. It just looks sloppy leaving it in there. The movie making is certainly not sloppy, however, so it makes up for it. Nice sound effects in the background, it adds a lot to the atmosphere of the video. :D
