F-15's Grounded

Post by Atlas » Tue Nov 06, 2007 9:54 am

Found this article on Cnn about a F-15 that broke apart over Missouri earlier this month. Pending the investigation they will only fly the Strike Eagle in a Emergency Situation. They will be calling on the navy to fill in operation holes.

While in maintenance on the F-15E at SJ AFB, we had a jet go down in mysterious circumstances, but the squadron kept right on flying. Then again, it was also 2002, guess the political situation might have had something to do with it.
